Common Issues

App Not Working

Classic IT solution: turn it off and on again. Close the app completely, restart your phone if you're feeling adventurous, or update to the latest version. 90% of problems are solved this way. The other 10% require actual work.

Recipe Generation Issues

Check your internet connection. Our AI lives in the cloud (not literally, that would be weird), so it needs Wi-Fi or data. If you're in a basement with no signal, maybe go upstairs? Or wait until you have better reception.

Account Problems

For account-related issues, password resets, or subscription questions, please email support with your account email address.

Before Contacting Support

Help us help you! The more info you give us, the faster we can solve your problem. Think of it like giving directions - "it's broken" doesn't help as much as "the app crashes when I try to generate a recipe with 47 ingredients." Here's what we need:

  • Your device type and OS version (iPhone 14, Android 12, etc. - we're not mind readers)
  • App version number (check in settings - it's probably outdated)
  • What happened? Be specific. "It doesn't work" tells us nothing. "The app crashes when I tap the generate button" is much better.
  • Screenshots! A picture is worth a thousand words (and saves us a thousand back-and-forth emails)
  • What you've tried already (did you turn it off and on again? We had to ask.)
